💨 About the Farting Legend 💨
Hi, I’m Michelle Fitzsimmons — Mum to four fartacular kids: Lottie, Daisy, Charlie and Poppie and two deadly smelling doggies; Tinker and Beanie.
Back in lockdown, I started writing a few whimsical animal picture books to keep our house smiling through the chaos. Then one day, my son Charlie — who wasn’t exactly a fan of reading — threw me a challenge:
“Mum, can you write a book that’s so funny I’d actually want to read it?”
Well… a divine wind blew, and Stinkbomb was born. 💨
To make it happen, I had to crawl right inside my childlike imagination and dig around in the deepest, stinkiest corners until I unearthed something extraordinary — a gift from the almighty Skunk Ancestors themselves!
From that blessed moment of bottom-blazing inspiration, Stinkbomb was born — a world of stinks, stains, and spectacularly silly chaos that completely took over my adult brain!
Now, Stinkbomb has become more than just a story — it’s a celebration of friendship, family, individuality and the fine art of letting one rip!
💨 So grab your nose pegs, open a window, and prepare to virtually smell the worst smell ever… this is one stink you’ll never forget!

Laura Harrison McBride is a talented writer and painter residing in the picturesque Cornwall. Hailing from the States, this proud Irish woman shares her life with her husband Simon and their beloved dog, Miss Heidi. While she may be a silent but deadly force, her wafts speaks volumes and her art work for the book even better.
